SeqBiome is excited to launch an innovative microbiome analysis program, designed to bridge the gap between cutting-edge microbiome research and practical applications.

Building on its extensive prior research and leveraging the latest advancements in microbiome science, the SportGenix™ program aims to equip leading Performance Nutritionists and Dietitian’s with tools, knowledge, and resources needed to apply microbiome-based science for the benefit of their athletes.
The SportGenix™ program, featuring serial testing, provides dynamic, longitudinal insights into changes over time, enabling more personalized and adaptive guidance compared to a single point-in-time test, and provides nutritionists with dynamic, real-time insights into their athletes’ microbiome status. By facilitating serial testing, the SportGenix™ program allows for both intra- and inter-individual monitoring of the efficacy of dietary and supplement changes, ultimately supporting more precise, proactive, and adaptive athlete care.
The SportGenix™ program is designed for Performance Nutritionists and Dietitian’s and, allowing them to leverage their technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the athlete’s history to make more informed, personalized recommendations — an approach that ensures greater accuracy, context-specific guidance, and improved outcomes compared to direct-to-consumer approaches.
Commenting on the launch, CEO David Corr said:
Microbiome science has grown significantly in the past few years and the SeqBiome founders and team have acquired huge knowledge in many areas of this incredibly exciting field. Our belief is that microbiome science will become a very important tool in the context of preventive and personalised care, and, on the way to broader clinical uses, we can leverage our knowledge and IP to start to bring focus to areas of immediate unmet need in health and wellness. The SportGenix™ program is our first step in focusing on the needs of one such area of focus, athlete performance and recovery.

The SportGenix™ program is not intended for diagnostic purposes and should not be used as a standalone tool for determining a specific medical condition. The program should be used in conjunction with other relevant athlete assessments, individual history, and professional judgment. The results should be interpreted by a qualified performance nutritionist or dietitian, who will consider them alongside other critical factors to guide nutrition advice and ensure care of the individual.
